Eye Gazing: The Surprising Power of Prolonged Eye Contact, Based On Science
People hardly ever look into each other’s eyes (except maybe during love-making).

Years ago, during my initial introduction to tantra, I recall a specific exercise that left a lasting impression on me.
I sat face to face with my partner, John, our hands resting on our laps while gazing into each other’s eyes for an uninterrupted thirty minutes.
A lot happens during a few minutes of uninterrupted eye contact.
During this prolonged eye contact, I gained a deeper understanding of the human psyche. Later, I did some researched and deepened my understanding of the surprising healing powers of eye contact, based on science.

My Experience of Prolonged Eye Gazing
I lifted my head to stare into John's eyes.
His almond-shaped, beautiful brown eyes in contrast with his dark caramel skin caught my attention, and I couldn’t help but giggle at a silly thought that crossed my mind.
